Soliman KHazaei

Biography

Dr. Soleiman Khazaei received his Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and his Master’s degree in Mathematical Statistics from Shiraz University. Between 1996 and 2000, he served as a faculty member at Hamedan University of Medical Sciences, and in 2000 he joined Razi University in Kermanshah. To pursue his doctoral studies, he went to Paris and, under the supervision of Professor Judith Rousseau, obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics with a specialization in Bayesian Nonparametric Inference in 2010. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at the Faculty of Sciences.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Khazaei has taught a variety of undergraduate courses including Probability and Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Design of Experiments I & II, Statistical Methods, Quality Control, Nonparametric Methods, Research Methods, and Bayesian Statistics. At the graduate level, he has taught courses such as Probability Theory, Bayesian Nonparametric Methods, and Simulation.
